There is an unbreakable bond between Gallo and the local area. For more than 80 years, the brand's products have been manufactured in the historic Desenzano del Garda factory. An irreplaceable location essential throughout production. A place around which the company's history, tradition, innovation and future revolve.
Gallo has also established a strong relationship with local people, one based on mutual respect and trust: many of the 80 collaborative partners, including weavers, designers and embroiderers working in the factory are third-generation employees. A story within a story in which experience—shared, passed down and spread on an industrial scale—has allowed us to reach standards of quality unmatched by anyone else on Earth. The outstanding quality of Gallo embodies all those classic "Made in Italy" values while showcasing, through branded products, ever-changing and authentic fashions, worlds and lifestyles.
Tradition and being at the forefront
In the historic building housing Gallo's premises by Lake Garda, traditional craftsmanship and industrial innovation come together to create unique, high-quality products: early English looms and latest-generation Italian looms make it possible to create socks with all different gauges for customers, from heavyweight (ski socks) to light (dinner jacket socks) and almost see-through varieties. And that's not all: for special pairs, Gallo still uses old Bentley looms in use for more than 50 years, which are the only ones that enable us to create certain varieties from the Gallo Tailoring line, a collection of elegant socks embellished with micro-embroidery.
