The sense of place

There's an unbreakable bond between Gallo and its territory. For over 80 years, products have been created in the historic Desenzano del Garda factory. An irreplaceable and essential place for all production. A place around which the company's history and tradition, innovation, and future revolve.

Gallo has also developed strong relationships with the local community, a relationship based on mutual respect and trust: in fact, many of the 80 employees, including weavers, designers, and embroiderers, are third-generation workers. A story within a story, then, where experiences— shared, passed down, and then scaled up —achieve levels of excellence unmatched in the world. Gallo's excellence perfectly embodies all the values of Made in Italy and communicates, through its products, ever-diverse and authentic ways, worlds, and lifestyles.

Tradition and avant-garde

In the historic building that houses Gallo's headquarters on Lake Garda, artisan tradition and industrial innovation work together to create unique, high-quality products: the first English looms and the latest-generation Italian ones allow the company to create all types of gauges for customers, from the heaviest (ski socks) to the lightest (tuxedo socks) that are almost transparent.

And not only that: for some special processes, Gallo still uses the historic Bentley looms that have been in operation for more than 50 years, the only ones that allow the production of some models of the Gallo Tailoring line, a collection of tailored socks with micro-embroidery.
