Gallo sources its yarns exclusively from certified suppliers that guarantee the protection of citizens' health , ensuring product safety and transparency for the end consumer.

Specifically, all yarns are OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified and free from harmful substances. Furthermore, yarn suppliers inform the company about the chemicals used, providing safety data sheets to ensure that the dyes are harmless to humans and the environment.

As for wool, all the yarns used by Gallo are Mulesing Free certified , meaning they come from farms where the sheep have not suffered any kind of exploitation or mistreatment.

Social sustainability

Gallo's goal is to help its employees grow in safe environmental and working conditions , providing them with the know-how necessary to perform their duties to the best of their ability.

Furthermore, for years, Gallo has been a main supporter of the non-governmental organization OVCI la Nostra Famiglia (Our Family) , which since 1982 has been pursuing initiatives that promote human, social, technical, and health development, fostering the education and independence of citizens of developing countries. The organization implements health, education, and training programs, with a particular focus on interventions for people with disabilities. OVCI's ultimate goal is to safeguard the rights of all children , including children with disabilities, who require specialized help and support.
