Gallo 1927 uses the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol, which encrypts and protects your sensitive data (password and credit card number) from any attempted fraud.

Furthermore, starting January 1, 2021, European regulations have changed to make online payments by credit or debit card even more secure.

When you make an online purchase using a card, your bank may ask you to confirm your identity using 3-D Secure authentication. There are several ways to authenticate online payments, and you may be asked to confirm your identity via SMS, email, or Touch ID.

3-D Secure authentication reduces online fraud, including identity theft and unauthorized card use, protects cardholder data, and reduces fraud attempts.

We recommend contacting your bank to ensure they have your correct contact information in case you are asked to use SMS or email for 3-D Secure authentication.

Please also remember that credit and debit card payments are subject to validation and authorization by both us and your credit institution.

Card payments

The Gallo 1927 online shop accepts all major Mastercard, Visa, and Postepay credit cards, as well as all major prepaid cards.

Your credit card will be charged when your order is confirmed.

Payments with PayPal

PayPal is a completely secure online payment method that allows you to pay for your order by accessing your account directly.

Your account and credit card information are managed directly by PayPal, which will notify you via email once the payment has been processed.

If you choose to pay with PayPal, you will be directed to the PayPal website.

If you already have a PayPal account, log in with your email address and password and confirm the payment.

If you don't have a PayPal account, you can proceed with a guest account or create one.

Payment will be processed within minutes and your order will be processed immediately.

You can always pay with PayPal, but if you don't have a PayPal account, you can use a credit card.

Google Pay

Google Pay is a fast and easy way to pay on websites, in apps, and in stores using the cards saved in your Google Account. Google Pay protects your information and your card details during checkout.

Apple Pay

Apple Pay is a fast and easy way to pay on websites, in apps, and in stores using the cards stored on your Apple device. Apple Pay protects your information and your card details during checkout, ensuring secure transactions without sharing your card numbers with merchants.

Gallo Digital Gift Card

If you have received a Gallo digital Gift Card, you can use it at checkout by entering the Gift Card code in the "Apply Gift Card" field under the payment methods listed at checkout.

Why was my payment declined?

Payment may not go through due to the following reasons:

Payment by credit card

• The credit or debit card information does not match the billing address associated with the card.
• The card is not authorized for international payments. Please note that our bank is based in Amsterdam, so you will need to make the transaction through an authorized network.
• Your card has reached its limit for online payments. Please check that the limit on your credit or debit card isn't preventing you from charging the due amount.
• The transaction page has expired.

Payment with PayPal

• If the credit cards linked to your PayPal account are not up to date or if your account balance is insufficient.
• Make sure your PayPal account is verified using the PayPal app.
• You leave the page before completing the checkout procedure.
• The transaction page has expired.
