There is an unbreakable bond between Gallo and its home territory. For over 80 years, Gallo products have been created at the historic Desenzano del Garda facility. An irreplaceable and essential place for all production. A place around which the company’s history and tradition, innovation and future revolve.

Gallo has also forged a strong relationship with the people of the area, based on mutual respect and trust: many of the 80 employees at the facility, including textile technicians, designers and embroiderers, belong to the third generation of Gallo employees. A story within a story, where experiences - shared, handed down and then transferred to an industrial scale - make it possible to achieve levels of excellence that are unique in the world. Gallo’s excellence perfectly embodies all the values of Made in Italy and communicates ever-changing, ever-authentic ways, worlds and lifestyles through its products.

Tradition and avant-garde

In the historic building that houses Gallo’s headquarters on Lake Garda, artisan tradition and industrial innovation work together in synergy to create refined, unique products: the first English looms and the latest-generation Italian ones enable us to create every type of gauge for our customers, from the heaviest (ski socks) to the lightest (almost sheer tuxedo socks).

And that’s not all: for certain special processes, Gallo still uses the historic Bentley looms that have been in operation for more than 50 years—the only ones capable of producing certain styles from the Gallo Tailoring line, a collection of tailored socks with micro-embroidered details.
